When I ordered these pants, I did a dumb and assumed the material to be a stretch canvas denim type material. They are more of a thicker snow pant material, comfortable and has good movement. Not a true work pant. I do a lot of metal work and these are just not the right pants for my needs. I am keeping them as a winter pant because they're good for that, but this is not a heavy work pant. Still good pants though.
