Timberland PRO's Work Warrior utility pants have the storage space necessary for jacks-of-all-trades and the lightweight performance you need for long days at work. Designed with reinforced ripstop cotton fabric for a full range of motion, these work pants are ready to take on anything.

How Does RipStop Material Work?

RipStop fabrics are woven fabrics using a special reinforcing technique that makes it so small tears can not easily spread.  The material can still be pierced but the hole should not run like traditional fabrics.

The Black and Timber versions of this product are discontinued with limited sizes - final sale.
  • Durable 100% cotton ripstop fabric
  • Ripstop pockets for added durability; reinforced back patch pockets and two side cargo pockets for holding your gear
  • Reinforced belt loops

I have never used Dickies or Carhartt product. I?ve had 3 pairs of Timberland Pro shoes and the 1/4 zip jacket. The warrior pants adds to their great engineered lineup. As other reviewers have mentioned, the pants are a bit stiff at first. Not something one would expect from 100% cotton but it?s due to its unique weaved fabric. It will never be as soft as a pair of khakis but these pants were designed for a different function. Personally, I have absolutely no problem with its feel. The measurements are very precise. You should be fine to order the size you know that fits and not need to up it by one. The length is spot on as well. The waist is higher than typical. So it could help if you have those plumber moments. 7 belt loops provides a better balance along the waist. The fitting is very straight legged. But with plenty of room for those who have muscular legs. The pants fits beautifully and has no noticeable tight areas. A few tidbits to mention are the pockets. I do find the 2 cargo pockets a bit low along the thigh. This makes bending at the knees a little awkward when you have items in the pocket. Just need to pull your pant leg up a bit but something to note. As well, the back pockets are large and hangs quite low as well. One last thing, do not buy these pants long and try to helm them yourself. These are the only pants I?ve ever had that has finished helms but also a second layer to help reduce fraying of your pant legs. These are amazing pants. Granted I?ve only had them for a week but I like them a lot more than my Denver Hayes. With a price point that is below all other work pants available, these should be on your list of purchases. If you?ve never owned an item by Timberland Pro, you need to start. This pair of pants is a great place to start. One try and you?ll be hooked.

How do I make sure to get the right size?

To measure your feet:

  1. Get a blank piece of paper, a pencil and a tape measure.
  2. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, and have most of your weight on your foot to simulate walking.
  3. Holding the pencil perfectly vertical and perpendicular to the paper, mark a line at the back of your heel and at the tip of your longest toe. Also mark a line along each side of the widest part of your foot.
  4. Measure length and width to the nearest 16th inch and subtract .20 to .25 inches, or .50 centimetres, to account for the width of the pencil.
  5. Find your corresponding size in the charts below.

A couple of tips to get the perfect fit:

  • Measure your feet later in the day as feet normally swell and can become up to half a size bigger in the evening.
  • Measure both feet and use the measurements of the biggest foot. Many people have feet that are different sizes.
  • Wear the same type of socks you will generally be wearing on the job when you measure your feet.

Here are some general guidelines to assess fit once you’ve received your new boots:

  • Try on new boots towards the end of the day.
  • Walk around in a clean environment for a couple of hours to make sure the boots are comfortable.
  • Try boots on both feet, as many people have feet that are different sizes.
  • Boots should fit snugly around the heel and ankle when laced.
  • The inner side of the boot should be straight from the heel to the end of the big toe.
  • The boot should grip the heel firmly.

Hint: For the most accurate results, measure yourself in your undergarments.

  • Neck: Measure around the base of your neck, inserting your forefinger between the tape and your neck to allow ease in fit.
  • Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping tape firmly under your armpits and around your shoulder blades.
  • Waist: Measure around your waist, slightly below your natural waist, where you normally wear your pants. Insert your forefinger between the tape and your body to allow ease in fit.
  • Sleeve length: Bend your arm slightly. Measure from centre back neck, across your shoulder, down to your elbow, down to your wrist.
  • Hip: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, inserting your forefinger between the tape and your hip to allow ease in fit.
  • Inseam: Measure a similar pant that fits you well. Measure along the inseam, from the crotch seam to the bottom of the hem.

Between sizes?

If your measurements are in between those listed in the size chart, pick the next larger size.
