Safety shoes with a composite toe are lighter weight and metal-free, while still providing all the protection of a steel toe.

Safety Icon electric-shock-resistant

The CSA White rectangle with orange Greek letter omega - indicates soles that provide resistance to electric shock. Such certified footwear contains a sole and heel design assembly that, at the point of manufacturing, has electrical insulating properties to withstand 18,000 Volts and a leakage current not exceeding 1mA for 60 seconds.

Safety Icon sole-and-toe-protection

The CSA Green Triangle indicates sole puncture protection with a Grade 1 Protective toe to withstand impacts up to 125 joules. Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons.


The Kodiak Jax skate style shoe has a generous wide fitting last and is metal-free. Generous fit; we suggest sizing down 1 full size

These are really good looking work shoes but I haven't worn them very much so I can't say if I really like them yet. They seem comfortable enough so hopefully they will be worth it. My last pair of work shoes (not Kodiaks) killed my feet.
