The CSA White rectangle with orange Greek letter omega - indicates soles that provide resistance to electric shock. Such certified footwear contains a sole and heel design assembly that, at the point of manufacturing, has electrical insulating properties to withstand 18,000 Volts and a leakage current not exceeding 1mA for 60 seconds.
Metal toe or steel toe safety shoes provide protection against impact and compression.
The CSA Green Triangle indicates sole puncture protection with a Grade 1 Protective toe to withstand impacts up to 125 joules. Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons.
Steel-plated safety shoes offer puncture resistance in the sole of the shoe.

CAT's Fairbanks Steel Toe boot combines super smart, new comfort features with a major style upgrade. This work boot is constructed with all the grit and durability of a Cat Footwear boot yet provides comfort with its padded collar and ankle pods as well as deep notched padded Achilles to bend and flex as you move.
The midsole is powered by DUOFUSE, our custom engineered midsole which blends rubber and foam for more comfort, less weight, and trusted durability. With 40% more resilience and 30% more abrasion resistance than standard EVA, it will stay comfortable while holding up to the daily beating they’re going to receive. Strobel Construction provides superior flexibility and lightweight durability.
